Comunicato Stampa. Giugno 2012
Allora, mentre sosterremo altri festival, mentre aiuteremo altri amici, mentre cercheremo in ogni dove la buona musica dell'Anima, vi diciamo arrivederci a presto. Speriamo intanto di incontrarci lungo la strada. Arrivederci, amici. Seregno (MB), 1 Giugno 2012 Associazione Blues4People |
Public Announcement. June 2012
This is the press release that we would have never wanted to write.
Brianza Blues Festival 2012 has been cancelled. Behind this suffered decision, there is actually a simple and well known reason: this frightful crisis that forces us all to sobriety in any kind of investment. Many companies and public administrations have sustained and encouraged us during these years, so we can’t and we don’t want to blame anyone for the choice they have done in such a difficult period for all of us. Further we did neither want to cut off all the costs, at the expense of the quality of the show and the dignity of the artists, who often have to play for a too misery salary. We didn’t want to propose a “less interesting” edition or a “less beautiful” edition. This is why we decided to stop for a while to start up again as soon as possible. We have to face reality, and reality is imposing us to pull up and think new creative solutions of sharing art, new contexts to enjoy music, new horizons for the Blues in Italy. Because the desire of Beauty that inspired this festival is still alive and - in this bad crisis – even stronger, more urgent and burning inside us. Like a cry raised high, as a Blues. So, while supporting other festivals, helping our friends and searching for the good old music of the Soul, we also hope to see you soon on the road. Goodbye, friends. We will be back.
